About Guruji

Nij Guru Pujye Pt. Prem Shankar Jaitley

His Holiness Pt. Prem Shankar Jaitley, lovingly referred to as Baba or Guruji by his devoted followers, was born on June 7, 1925, in Moradabad. His father, a highly respected physician and a devout devotee of Lord Shiva, harboured a deep faith in the spiritual realm. It was this unwavering faith that led him to make a special prayer to the revered spiritual leader, Shankaracharya Ji, seeking a son who would bring enlightenment not only to their lineage but also to the world.

In response to this heartfelt plea, Shankaracharya Ji decreed that Baba should incarnate in this material world. Guruji willingly embraced this profound mission, choosing to be born to Shri Bhavani Shankar Jaitly Ji's wife, Mother Ganga, in order to manifest his divine purpose.

During his formative years, Guruji immersed himself in the quest for spiritual knowledge and wisdom. Remarkably, even at a young age, signs of his divine abilities began to surface, including the ability to read minds, make future predictions, and exhibit exceptional memory skills, all of which left a lasting impression on his teachers. During his education in Kashi, he had the privilege of interacting with enlightened individuals such as Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishna, Aghori Ramnath Ji, Shri Kalipada Ghoshal, Rai Moshai, and Pt Gopinath Kaviraj Ji, an experience that further awakened him to his omniscient nature.

Guruji pursued higher studies, earning a B-Tech degree in Oil Technology from Harcourt Butler Technical University in Kanpur and subsequently working as a Chemical Engineer in Agra. It was during this time that he discovered a groundbreaking technique for producing liquid gold, earning him recognition. Yet, in his own words, his spiritual awakening truly began when he met his Guru, Pt. Sri Ram Sharma Acharya in Mathura, who initiated him into Gayatri Sadhna and  inducted the him into the venerable lineage of the Swami Sarveswaranad ji  Majaraj and Mahasavitayoga.

The lineage which originates with Sadashiv, the embodiment of the Mantra, and proceeds with Sri Sarveshwaranad ji, as the Jagrit Divya Guru ,transcending the earthly and divine realms, and finds its form as the Chaitnyakrit Sadguru through Sri Ram Sharma Acharya, (Bhramleen).

As Guruji's spiritual journey progressed and his stature grew, he started to assist people in various ways, addressing their spiritual and material concerns. In 1965, he made the life-altering decision to resign from his engineering career and moved to Bareilly to fulfill his true purpose, which was to illuminate the souls seeking their guru. There, he built Shri Gayatri Shaktipeeth, a divine sanctuary where he consecrated Goddess Gayatri, Goddess Laxmi, Goddess Durga, Shri Hanuman Ji, and Lord Shiva. He noted in his autobiography that the consecration was blessed by the presence of divine beings from the astral realms of 'Gyanganj.'

Staying in Bareilly until 1998, Guruji blessed thousands of devotees, leaving an indelible impact on their lives. He also established the Gayatri Shiksha Peeth Inter College in Bareilly. In 1998, he relocated to Haridwar and founded the Shri Tripada Van Prastha Charitable Yog Ashram.

Nij Guruj Pt. Prem Shankar Jaitley eloquently expounded the philosophy and sadhna of Mahasavita Yoga, mastering Tantra Vigyaan and Mantra Vigyaan as a Nishkaam Karmayogi. His teachings are encapsulated in his books, 'Mahasavitayoga (part 1 and 2), Atam Katha, Gurugita, 'Sadhakon ke Anubhav,' and 'Diksha Rehasya.'

On August 11, 2008, His Holiness Baba transcended his human form, leaving behind an enduring legacy. He was an embodiment of divinity and cosmic knowledge, and to this day, he continues to guide his devoted followers, serving as their eternal protector. We are privileged to offer a glimpse into the remarkable life and profound influence of this extraordinary soul.
